Our KEIRO - SONEX and KEIRO  - WAIEX are semiscale-models of the experimental aircraft built by Sonex Aircraft at Oshkosh USA. Scale is 1:4.5. Yo can find more information about the fullsize Sonex and Waiex on the factory homepage Sonex-Aircraft.

The difference between SONEX and WAIEX is the tail. The WAIEX has a V-tail the SONEX a conventional tail. Both types are available as taildragger or tricycle.

We got original drawings of the manufacturer. Thanks to the sonex-crew. My model is fully designed in 3D-CAD.

It is an all wood design, with several pre-formed parts (hood, canopy, undercarriage)

We suggest electrive drive with an outrunner
