| Description of KEIRO-ECLIPSE 400/1.2
The KEIRO-Eclipse 400/1.2 is a semi scale model of the american Very Light Jet Eclipse 400. After maiden in 2007 unfortunately Eclipse aviation suffered bancrupcy in 2009 and the Eclipse-project was stopped. We have adopted the form and proportions of the original but the fuselage was realized in a box-type form to allow easier build-up in wood. Flight caracteristics are very dynamic. The electric ducted fan has very good efficiency in its nacelle, and the fuse shape is aerodynamically perfect. The eclipse is launched by rubber bungee. A 69mm-fan is intended and a drive with 3S-LiPo is fully adequate.
