Our VIKING is a semiscale-model of the Lockheed S-3A Viking . Size 1:14.

It is an all wood design, with several pre-formed parts (nacelles, canopy, nose, nozzles)

Our VIKING needs two fans of 69mm diameter (Wemotec Minifan or HET6904)

You have the choice to build in retractable gears or not.

development of KEIRO-VIKING

prototype: The EDF-Viking was designed in 2002 based on an earlier PSS-Viking. Flight tests have been successfully finished.
The prototype has two WeMoTec Minifan 480 driven by two brush-motors Velkom VM2020/24. Today we fly with 3 LiPo Kokam 3200 in the beginning there were NiCad.

serial VIKING: It is slightly bigger with a scale of 1:14. The design principals are the same. But we included hard points for retractable gears. Several parts like nose, canopy and nacelles are premanufactured as fiberglas or vacuumformed parts.
